Looking forward to Ground Hog Day...

This has been a hard week for Dearest Sister. She had to say good-bye to her kitty on Saturday, and she has not been on top of her game for a few days. I was going to bag on her about not keeping up her part of the rhythm, but then I got a package in the mail!

I forgot all about any perceived shortfalls of steadfastness!

Of course you have probably seen the slippers of frustration. They are mine, now, and fit just right!
These prove my theory that if you whine and beg long enough, the average sock knitting sister will eventually shut you up by sending you a pair!
Do you think the stripes make my feet look fat?

What awesome gifts! I love the socks! Great yarn! Maybe DS will share what kind of yarn that is? And no, your feet look just fine! :)

Those are great...but in the desert, do you need slippers? The socks are great...lock them up when I come to visit!!

Of course not -- your feet look very fashionable (and thin) in those pretty socks.

And the "slippers of frustration" -- well...that was a very lucky break for you, since you didn't even have to break into the whine and beg routine to get them.

How lovely that she sent you those slippers, they are GORGEOUS, and so are the socks! I'd like to adopt her. The stripes do NOT make your feet look fat, lol!

Oh, no... I'm sorry about the kitty and immensely jealous that you scored those cute little slippers.

I think my first post may have been eaten by the innernets. I am glad you like your new hand knits and I am glad they fit.

And you didn't whine and beg of me anymore than I whine and beg of you.
